Eric Wadell and The Abundant Life Singers

Eric Waddell & The Abundant Life Singers has become, in only nine years since its inception, one of the leading groups in Baltimore, Maryland. In its prodigious growth, the chorus has gradually gathered an increasing number of phenomenal vocalists: at the moment the choir has about fifty singers and an exceptional band. Under the magisterial direction of Eric Waddell, front-man and group leader, it has reached a level of vocal perfection that reminds us of the choral group of Hezekiah Walker and Ricky Dillard.

In its career the group shared the stage with legends such as Pastor Timothy Wright and Albertina Walker; with gospel stars such as BeBe & CeCe Winans, Pastor Marvin Sapp, Vashawn Mitchell, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Pastor Charles Jenkins, Dorothy Norwood, Keith Pringle and the legendary Dottie Peoples.

Eric Waddell & Abundant Life Singers is also leaving an important mark in the recording world. Among the most significant recording we mention: the debut CD "Put a Praise On It" (September 2012); "Hour of Power" (March, 2013); CD Release in collaboration with Overseer Kervy Brown and Isaiah D. Thomas (May 2013). In July 2014 the group received two awards at the Rhythm of Gospel Awards for Best Traditional CD of the Year, Year and Best Performances by Choir / Director. In March 2018 the last album "The Church Sound" was released.

Among the most significant appearances we can remember: in August 2014 at BET's Bobby Jones Gospel; in September 2015 for the month of the Gospel Gospel Heritage Month at the Kennedy Center; in January 2017 exhibition for the inauguration of the new presidential term.

Eric Waddell & The Abundant Life Singers has traveled throughout the States spreading fervently the Gospel message that inspires its music.

Eric Waddell is one of the most excellent Ministers of Music and choir conductor: in his career he has lent his work in numerous Churches. Now famous teacher and composer, he has studied at the Peabody Conservatory as a psalmist. His love for the group he created himself, The Abundant Life Singers, allowed him to share and develop his gifts through music.
Many of the pieces in the repertoire are of its own composition: a harmony that combines the sounds of traditional gospel with the new trends of contemporary gospel.
