Uni.Sound

Christmas Gospel show!
As the founding members of the contemporary vocal arts group affectionately known as Unisound, Terelle Tipton (Harlem), Eric Sumpter (Philadelphia), Shilan Douglas (Indiana) and Sharon Williams (New York) carefully formulated their group foundation based on a high ideal of ordained togetherness, which defines the sacred bond that unites each member on their sacred journey.
The four united members met in 2008 while performing in Harlem churches as part of a choir. By the following year they were being featured in a performance of The Spirituals and Gospel in Italy at The Rome Festival of Opera and Classical Music at Teatro Marcello in 2009.
They continued on their journey together and soon after they were performing at the Arsenal de Metz, in Metz, France, The Legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, The American Museum of Folk Art, New York City, C.C. Lemon Hall in Tokyo, Japan and the Boscov’s Berks Jazz Festival in Philadelphia, PA. Over the course of their careers, Unisound members have shared the stage with many legendary performers including Diana Ross and Rhonda Ross Kendricks, Bono and U2, Avril Lavigne, Kathleen Battle, Jessye Norman, Branford Marsalis, Bobby McFerrin, Take 6, Miriam Makeba “Mother Africa,” Sounds of Blackness, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams.
