"Appunti Musicali dal Mondo"

Singer, eclectic actress, researcher and experimental musician, always fascinated by traditional music from all over the world, TOSCA began her artistic journey with Renzo Arbore. In her career, she collaborated with leading Italian and international musicians such as RENATO ZERO, RICCARDO COCCIANTE, LUCIO DALLA, ENNIO MORRICONE, NICOLA PIOVANI, IVANO FOSSATI, CHICO BUARQUE and RON, together with she won in the 1996 edition of Sanremo Festival. 
She has released ten records including L’altra Tosca, a collection of her important collaborations, and Incontri e Passaggi, that awarded her as best interpreter at the TARGA TENCO Prize. 
She has an intense theatrical career and played main roles in various acts like, to mention a few, I monologhi della vagina, Romana - Omaggio a Gabriella Ferri, Gastone, La strada, Musicanti, Il borghese gentiluomo, Zoom spartito cinematografico, Italiane, Semo o nunsemo, Esperanto,‘Sto core mio - Notturno napoletano per Roberto Murolo.
In September 2014 she released her record Il Suono della Voce under Sony Classical label, and in the same year made its debut the show “Il Suono della Voce, Confini e Sconfini di un Viaggio in Musica”. 
Beside her artistic career, she is Director of the Song section in the Officina delle Arti “Pier Paolo Pasolini” an Academy for Performing and Visual Arts located in Rome. Strongly committed in this educational and social position, she is often defined a ‘"pasionaria” of independent Italian singer-songwriter music, and achieved a high reputation in the education of young artists. 
In March 2015 she launched the The Great Dictator theatrical performance from Charlie Chaplin's film. In 2016 Tosca was the first Italian female artist to be invited to the international “Jazz à Carthage”Festival in Tunisia, and to the Auditorium de Radio Algérienne in Algiers; both concerts gain broad public and critical applause. 
In August 2017 she was invited to launch the Rimini Meeting with a great concert for Peace, with Massimo Venturiello, and the Syrian and Lebanese singers Mirna Kassis and Tania Kassis. 
In the same month Carmen Consoli, Concertmaster of the 19 th edition of “La Notte della Taranta”, invited her to perform on the famous stage of Melpignano together with Fiorella Mannoia and Nada. 
Her new live album “Appunti Musicali dal Mondo –Live” will be released on November 2017: this album was recorded during her concert in Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica, and figures special guests like Nicola Piovani, Danilo Rea and GeGè Telesforo.
