Breath of Water is a concert that transforms music into a sensory and narrative experience. Two guitars, two artistic visions, two expressive voices come together to tell the story of the strength and delicacy of water—a symbol of life and sustainability.
The music of guitarist and composer Andrea Vettoretti, ambassador of the Global Network of Water Museums – UNESCO, merges with the guitar of Andrea Candeli, creating an intense and original dialogue between contemporary composition, rhythm, and expressiveness.
A distinctive element of the project is the integration of real water sounds from 23 countries around the world, collected in collaboration with the Global Network of Water Museums. Waves, rivers, rain, and springs become part of the music, transforming the concert into a living and ever-evolving soundscape.
The interplay between instruments and natural sounds creates a new form of storytelling, capable of enveloping the audience in an immersive, evocative, and deeply contemporary journey.
Breath of Water is not just a concert, but an experience that brings together music, nature, and awareness, offering the audience a contemporary artistic perspective on the relationship between humans and the environment.
ANDREA VETTORETTI
Composer and guitarist, he graduated from the École Normale de Musique de Paris under Maestro Alberto Ponce and is a winner of thirteen international competitions. He has performed in prestigious venues such as London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Salle Cortot in Paris, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, and the Palau de la Música in Valencia.
His artistic research blends classical music, minimalism, and world music influences, giving life to unique projects such as Rain, Wonderland, Quantum One, and Nocturnal Stars. He is an Ambassador of the Global Network of Water Museums – UNESCO, and his work has been selected for events such as the G7 Environment Summit.
He collaborates with actors including Sabrina Impacciatore and Michele Placido, and has released eleven albums distributed by CNI Music.
ANDREA CANDELI
A virtuosic and eclectic guitarist, he is highly regarded by critics for his brilliant musicality and remarkable versatility. Winner of numerous national and international competitions, he has performed in leading theatres and festivals across Italy and Europe, including the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia, the Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi, the Biblioteca Casanatense “Niccolò Paganini” in Rome, and various Italian universities.
He has collaborated with artists such as Giancarlo Giannini, Ugo Pagliai, Ivano Marescotti, Vanessa Gravina, and Andrea Bocelli.
